About me

I was born in Indonesia, grew up in southern California, & am now a derivatives trader working in NYC. I graduated from MIT in 2015 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and minors in energy & economics. During my sophomore year of college while interning in Utah, I decided to alter a few cheap thrift store finds into wearable, modern pieces. From there, my passion for this type of art and creativity grew, and I moved on from alterations into fully original pieces.

My creative inspirations are constantly changing, and thus I find it difficult to define my brand. Prior to AW20, I collaborated with local artists to make my clothing an extension of their canvases. We created wearable art by allowing artists to paint on clothing, and making the fabrics and pieces unique to the medium of the artists’ choice. This year, we focus on melding cultures with modern fashion.

My goal for this brand is to create fashion with meaning. Whether that’s through combining different media together, or combining different cultural inspirations together. I want my pieces to communicate messages to others and go beyond a piece of clothing.
